The resort is five levels including a three-storey building, built into the hill over two underground levels. It features an internal lift from level one to level three which has views overlooking the water and a walk-bridge crossing above the large tiled infinity pool. The heated spa pool is also on the main leisure deck.
good location and it is worth to work, face the supermarket very nice view in the room, big kitchen in the room. The employee is very kind and good service

Wonderful, enjoyable, relaxing time. Pool a littlle cool though. Lower spa had a lot of leaves in it which stayed there the 3 nights we stayed.

I had a great stay here, although walking up Golden Orchid Drive is a killer!
The pool is fantastic with a great view.
The proximity to restaurants and bars is very good, especially if you are happy to get a cab back up the hill for $5.
The reception desk is open daily from 8:30 am - 5 pm weekdays and 9 am - 12 noon on the weekends.

Getting There : From Proserpine Airport : Bus or Taxi approx 35 minutes or Taxi ride.Driving- 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway to Airlie Beach. Turn Right from the main street (Shute Harbour Road) into Waterson Way - 1st left into Golden Orchid Drive. Martinique is at the top of the Road.
From Hamilton Island Airport : Transfers with Cruise Whitsundays to Port Of Airlie 2 minutes Bus or taxi to the resort.
The Whitsunday Island group is one of nature's remarkable gifts. They also lie next to one of the world's greatest wonders, the Great Barrier Reef. The crystal clear emerald waters of the Whitsundays remain a constant 20 - 25 degrees C throughout the year. Perfect for snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, parasailing, sea kayaking or just lying by the pool enjoying a book.
While the 74 islands of the Whitsundays are essentially drowned mountains with peaks rising clear of the sea, many have fringing reef systems with beautiful corals. We also have beautiful sandy beaches including the world famous Whitehaven beach, the longest unbroken beach in the area.
The natural barrier created by the Great Barrier Reef creates beautiful calm waters providing one of the best boating destinations in the world. This fact was noted by one of our earlier guests Captain James Cook who mapped and named the Whitsundays in 1770.
Needless to say the fishing in the Whitsundays is nothing short of spectacular with Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Sweetlip and Spanish Mackerel in good supply. A variety of vessels will take you to nearby fishing grounds or to the Reef for the big game fish.
The environment in the Whitsundays and neighbouring rainforest is truly magnificent. There are tours that take you right inside the forest or take bushwalking trips into Conway National Park.
