What time can I check in and out?

You can check in from 2pm and check out is at 10am or earlier (Charges apply for late checkouts). If the room is available you are welcome to check in early.


Can I have a late check out?

Late check out is subject to availability ? this can be arranged through Reception the day before your departure- from 11am, charges will apply and after midday a full nights tariff will be payable direct to the Resort

I made a reservation however now the rates are cheaper?

The Whitsunday Terraces adapt a dynamic pricing structure, all rates are updated daily. If you find your rate has decreased, we are unable to amend or change this for you.


Is it safe to provide my Credit Card details?

During the booking process there are cases when you should give your credit card data. Our company has a secure internal system. The hotel asks for credit card information as a guarantee for the room.


What Are Reception Hours?

Reception operates Monday to Saturday 8am ? 5pm and Sunday 8am - 2pm. Public holidays 9am - 12. Should you be arriving outside these hours please contact us for Afterhours check in procedure


Am I required to pay a bond on check in?

Upon check-in you will be required to provide a credit card preauthorisation of $100 or a $100 cash deposit to cover any miscellaneous charges


What if I arrive late and reception is closed?

If you will be arriving late to the resort, you will need assistance from our after hours check in service. Located out the front of the Reception you will find a telephone, pick up the phone and it will put you through to our Afterhours Answering service. They will give you the code to the safe which is located beside the phone. In there you will find an envelope with your name on it and key and instruction to get into the unit


Are the prices listed online on a per guest or per room basis?

All rates listed for The Whitsunday Terraces are based per room only not exceeding the maximum number of guests. ? 1-2 guests in a 1 bedroom apartment ? 1-2 guests in a Studio Apartment ? Extra person rate is $25 per night


Is parking available?

Whitsunday Terraces has limited car parking. Each Terrace has its own car park however there are no allocated car parks. You are welcome to park in any available car space during your stay and there is also street parking available in Golden Orchid Drive


I have booked two rooms can I have them interconnecting or on the same floor?

The Whitsunday Terraces do offer interconnecting rooms, but these mush be booked in advance. If you are a group booking we will do our best to put your rooms near each other. Please be aware this is only a request basis, as some of the apartments are permanently rented


I have arrived and I did not get what I requested?

Whilst every attempt is made by us to allocate rooms based on guest requests, sometimes this is not possible, due to Maintenance issues or owner requests. All guests are provided with the best room available on the day, regardless of the time frame booked


Cancellation policy of the Whitsunday Terraces?

Cancellation Policy Cancellations lodged 14 days (or more) prior to arrival, a cancellation fee applies ($50). Less than 14 days notice, loss of $100 deposit paid per room. (Admin charge - equivalent to 1st nights accommodation). Please note all deposits/accommodation payment are non refundable after check in.


I want to change the bedding configuration in my apartment booked?

Unfortunately bedding configurations in the Resort cannot be changed. We can add an additional rollaway bed if the maximum number of people has not been met


Will my room be serviced?

Your apartment will be serviced if your stay is longer than 6 nights. Shorter stays will not receive a service, however this can be arranged through Reception for a fee if you require this during your stay.


I need more amenities/towels?

All amenities can be supplied through Reception on depletion of your arrival pack. Charges do apply.


What do I need to bring?

We suggest that you bring your normal travelling items including beach towels, sunscreen and a hat.


Upgrade options

On arrival you may decide to change your mind form what you have originally booked. We are more than happy to assist you with upgrades subject to availability. Charges will apply


What Credit Cards do Whitsunday Terraces Accept?

We accept all Major Credit Cards; unfortunately we do not accept Amex or Diners Card.


Are there any Charges for Additional Guests?

Unless specified all rates are based on the number of guests specified per apartment. 1 rollaway can be added per apartment for $25 per night


How far is Whitsunday Terraces from the Airport?

The Proserpine Airport approx 27kms from Airlie Beach, Mackay Airport is about a 1 ? hours drive.


Do you offer airport shuttles and Book Tours?

Yes we have FREE wifi. It is only available in the reception, pool, bar and restaurant area?

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms. Smoking is permitted on the balcony as long as the balcony doors are closed.
