What's for Breakfast?

Eggs laid at the Crabtree House chookmahal and fed on corn, maize, barley & rice as well as premium laying pellets. The result? The best eggs you have ever tasted. Add local bacon reputed through-out Tasmania, freshly baked bread from the Crabtree House kitchen and Italian Vitoria nectars. Finish off with a fine coffee from the coffee maker or plunger or a delicious tea and you are done. Cereals are also available.

What is the difference betweena traditional B&B andSelf Contained Accommodation

With a traditional B&B you eat breakfast in the breakfast room, have a common sitting room and the only place for total peace and tranquility is in your bedroom. Our self contained cottages have all the facilities contained in the cottage i.e. kitchen, eating area, lounge with fireplace, TV DVD stereo and a collection of DVDs CDs and various good magazines. In the river cottages we have spas in the ensuite.
