Skybus, Melbourne's Airport Express Bus, brings you to and from the airport at regular intervals, 24 hours a day. Buses depart from directly in front of the airport arrival lounge every 15 minutes from 6 AM to late in the evening, and every 30 minutes during the night.
Once you've arrived at Melbourne city centre terminal, you can either walk or catch the Skybus courtesy bus to Alto Hotel;

Walk 1 block down Spencer St. to the corner of Bourke St. Then turn left into Bourke St. and you will see the hotel on your left approximately 100 metres on the first block of Bourke St.
