Guests are recommended to book and pay accommodation for the night before arrival to guaranteed early check-in. Late check out - must request at hotel front desk and only available subject to availability. Late check out till 12 noon may incur additional charge. Late check out after 12 noon will incur a full day charge. A valid credit card and current photo identification (to be photocopied) are required on check in. How far is Paramount Serviced Apartments from Melbourne Airport?

Paramount Serviced Apartments is located at the Paris end of Melbourne City. It takes approximately a 30 minute drive from Melbourne's Airport at Tullamarine during off peak times and a 50 minute drive during peak times. It costs about AUD$65 per way for taxi service to the airport. Otherwise you can use the Skybus service which is AUD$19.50 per person per way. What if I arrive earlier than the standard check in time or wish to have a late check out?

If you arrive at The Paramount before check in time, requests for early check in can be made. However, they cannot be guaranteed. If you arrive early and your apartment is not ready, you may store your bags in our luggage room at our reception storage. Guests are recommended to book and pay accommodation for the night before arrival to guaranteed early check-in. Late check out after 12 noon will incur a full day charge.

Does the apartment have car parking and have height restriction?

Concessional parking is available at $35 per night from 1st July 2018 (one car per apartment). Normal car park charges apply for parking after 11am on the day of departure. Car park entrance is 163 Exhibition Street Melbourne 3000 VIC Note: Carpark entrance has a height restriction of 1.9 metres. Larger vehicles such as minibus or van need to find alternative parking elsewhere. LOST TICKETS incur the maximum daily charge $80.

Are you close to transport?

We are situated in the City almost corner of Bourke Street and Exhibition Street. We are surrounded by shops, restaurants, threatres, walking distance to sporting venues. The taxi rank is directly outside the Paramount building. The nearest train station is at Parliament Station (1 block away). Many Trams stop outside the building (eg. Trams No. 86 and 96). Tram stop is nearby. Travel on trams are free inside CBD Free Tram Zone.

Does your serviced apartments have internet access for guests?

Wifi inside our apartments is powered by Freedom Internet. For Free Wifi (limited data) inside apartment, please organise with hotel reception upon check in.

Do I have to pay extra to use any of the facilities?

Our rates include the free use of the in door heated swimming pool, gymnasium, spa, sauna and tennis court. Each apartment has its own washing machine and dryer. There is one concessional carpark for each apartment at $35 per night. However, if you wish to have more than one car parked with the carpark, standard parking rates apply.

Are there any tourist attractions near your serviced apartments?

We are situated close to Fitzroy Garden (5minutes walk), Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) (15 minutes walk) and Rod Laver Arena (15 minutes walk). Her Majesty's Theatre is right next door, The Princess Theatre is one block away, and The Regent Theatre is 3 blocks away. It takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes to walk to Queen Victoria Market, South Bank, the Arts Centre and the Crown Casino. Or alternatively you can catch the trams. Note: Free trams are only inside the City and marked "Free Tram Zone".

Where can I find good restaurants?

You will discover many Cafes and Restaurants in Little Bourke St (20 metres from the Paramount building) - the entrance to China Town. Or you can enjoy the stylish cafes and restaurants along Brunswick Street (10 minutes by taxi). Restaurants along Lygon Street, well known for Italian and European cuisine are less than 5 minutes by taxi from The Paramount.

If I want to cook in the apartment, where is the nearest supermarket I can shop?

You can take a 5 minute walk to QV shopping centre and shop at Woolworths Supermarket.

Are there any breakfast places in the building or nearby?

You can have breakfast in The Paramount Food Court (in the same building - below Paramount Apartments). Welcome Stranger 128 Bourke Street (next door to The Paramount) serves breakfast 7am to 11am Monday to Sunday.

How do I cancel my reservation?

If you have booked online on this website, please click on the above link "Cancel Booking", otherwise please see below for cancellation. Cancellation Policy outside Major Events Period: We require 48 hours notice before arrival date for booking cancellation. Should the reservation be cancelled less than 48 hours before the arrival date, amount equivalent to one night for the number of rooms booked will be charged to credit card provided. When in house, we require 48 hours for early departure, otherwise 2 nights' accommodation will be charged. Failure to cancel (no show) will result in full accommodation cost being charged. For all Major Events: Cancellations must have 30 days notice for full refund to occur. Cancellations made between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival will result in one night's accommodation being charged. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival date shall have no refund. When in house, No refunds for early departure. Failure to cancel (no show) will result in full accommodation cost being charged.
