All units are presented in a spotless condition and include a TV/DVD player. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed & 2nd bedroom has a single bed plus a double bunk - all with doonas and electric blankets on the master.
Units 6 & 7 upstairs are North facing to catch the Winter sun and have lovely views of the Merimbula Lake and Township. Each room has its own parking space, with room for boats and trailers.
Admirals Lodge has table tennis, 'Village Green' lawn area for your children to play safely, modern playground with certified ground cover mulch and a solar heated swimming pool.

How long does it take to drive to Merimbula from Dandenong in Victoria?
Approx. 6½ hours via Lakes Entrance - even quicker via Bairnsdale and Bruthen.
Do you hire bikes?
No, but there is a bike hire shop within 5 minutes walk from Admirals Lodge.
Can we bring our boat or trailer?
Yes we have ample parking facilities for your tinny or cruiser.
Trailers can be parked at the rear of the property.
Do you offer transfers from Merimbula airport?
Yes - Free transfers to Admirals Lodge and return after your stay.
I am arriving by bus, can I be collected at the bus terminal?
Yes, we offer free transfers to and from the bus station.
Are discount vouchers available for local businesses?
Yes - Admirals Lodge has ongoing arrangements with several businesses and clubs. We will be only too happy to provide the vouchers.
Is it cold in Merimbula?
Like other parts of Australia, Merimbula can and does have some cold nights but the days are normally magnificent. You can snuggle up in bed with your electric blanket anyway.
Do we have to bring our own linen?
No. All linen is supplied. You only need to bring your own beach towels
Are the apartments serviced?
No.
What is provided in the unit?
The apartments have a fully self contained kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven/stove, saucepans, frypan, utensils, crockery, cutlery and assorted dishes. Dining table and chairs, lounge suite, TV/DVD player. Bedrooms blankets & doonas, bathroom and toilet, most with washing machine (community laundry with dryer also available), iron and ironing board, built-in cupboards, mirrors.
Are pets allowed?
No.

Can I walk into town?
Yes. The town centre is a good flat 10-15 minute stroll over the bridge.
Can you organise a fishing charter?
Yes, there are several good charter companies in Merimbula. We can arrange for you or your party to go Reef , Deep Sea or Game fishing. All bait & tackle supplied. Half day or full day trips.
When can I see whales?
The whale migration south starts in late September thru to late November.
