Swansea Cottages accommodation is located in the historic seaside town of Swansea, Tasmania(c1821), adjacent the main beach, 30 minutes from Freycinet National Park and just over 90 minutes from Hobart and Launceston. From Swansea, the towns of Bicheno, Coles Bay, St Helens, Port Arthur, Richmond, Triabunna, Local Wineries and the ferry to Maria Island National Park are close by.
With beach and tennis courts adjacent (no roads to cross), stroll to shops, a diverse range of exciting and enticing restaurants and attractions including the award winning Swansea Barkmill Museum, Shop and Tavern (50m) , Gallery 19, the acclaimed Bear Cottage Craft Shop and the world renowned Kate's Berry Farm.
Whether beach combing, sunbaking on our many pristine beaches, fishing, viewing Shearwater and Fairy Penguins come ashore each evening, cycling (yes we also have bicycles available) be as active or passive as you wish.

Sherbourne Spa Suite - spacious luxurious attic style Spa suite (with a two person corner spa) complete with "dormer window". Fully air conditioned (and heated), a telephone and computer port, and finished in lovely Tasmanian Blackwood and Tasmanian Oak timber. Each suite has a kitchenette with microwave oven, fridge, kettle and toaster, remote 26"/66cm LCD stereo television (Spa has a 32"/81cm LCD), DVD, video player, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. A dining suite and sofa. Linen and towels included along with electric blankets. Cherry Cottage - for up to 5 adults. Luxurious fully self catering cottages, main beds are queen sized and fitted with doonas. Additional blankets and pillows are also included.
Each cottage is air-conditioned for our hot summers (yes we can get temperatures up around 40C), and has a romantic log fire for you to be warm and cosy for our cooler months. Flat screen (Sony) stereo television and home theatre with DVD, Video, CD, Tape and radio, Fully equipped kitchen, Cosy Log fires, Laundry Facilities. Private verandas. As cottages are fully self catering they are not serviced daily, but weekly, for longer stays.
2 bed roomed cottage (1 queen, 1 double bed with a half bunk over accommodates 4 adults+ 1 child), traditional 9' high ceilings, ornate cornices and ceiling roses. For the elderly or disabled traveller, Dove Cottage has been built to assist specific needs. On level-ground, no steps, wide doors, bathroom with a walk in shower (no hob), adjustable height shower chair and water head accessible whilst seated, and full hand rails. Toilet w hand rails along w a purpose and slightly higher pan. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Private laundry - washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing. Air-conditioned with climate control and separate cooling fan. Private parking bay and veranda overlooking its own fragrant cottage gardens.
Kirby Cottage - luxurious fully self catering cottage includes every modern convenience you need for a family holiday or romantic interlude.

Accommodates up to 7 people, with two master bedrooms both with queen sized beds, 2 TVs, DVD and video players including home cinema downstairs. Bathrooms on each level with a romantic 2-person corner spa upstairs in the attic timber lined master bedroom. French doors lead out onto private balcony with views over the bay.3rd bedroom upstairs has timber attic ceilings, 3 single beds. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Full laundry facility: washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Bayview Cottage is air-conditioned with climate control both upstairs and down. Separate cooling fans provided.
