The property was well run by a friendly manager, and the units were comfortable without being luxurious. Wi-fi reception in the units was less than impressive, which didn't matter too much to us - I simply used my mobile broadband - but might be of some concern to business travellers. The breakfast was generous, and the dining room pleasant,

Very comfortable nights stay, great dinner at the Queens Head, on the recommendation of Bev, and a lovely full english breakfast the next morning. After finding such great accommodation, at such a very reasonable(actually very cheap) rate we are sad to hear that it will be no longer as of next month. Well done

Delightful. We had a medical problem which meant we stayed a second night. We were late getting back from the hospital one morning (after 10 am) and our host then cooked us another superb breakfast. Nothing was a problem. Location is excellent - just a few minutes away from the centre of Ballarat and very handy to Ballarat Base Hospital.

This is the second time that we have stayed with you and cannot fault your beautiful accomodation and wonderful food. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definately be back again and would highly recommend Alexandra House to anyone looking for fabulous accomodation at a reasonable rate. The breakfast was so good that we didn't need to eat again until dinner. It is worth staying just for the breakfast. Thanks again for a great time.

We found Alexandra House a very enjoyable experience as noted by our overall rating. The decor of the Executive Queen Suite along with the house were wonderful and with a satisfying cooked breakfast we had a great start for the day. We have visited twice and always find Bev and Gerard go out of their way to ensure our comfort and make sure we have a relaxing stay. They are friendly and warm hosts,the house is beautiful and absolutely spotless. Breakfast delicious! We are booked to go back in May!!

Lovely house and breakfast was very good.

We had a lovely time staying in the 2 Bedroom unit. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were given a very warm welcome, including ensuring our room was nice and warm when we arrived. We all enjoyed the cooked breakfast. We would recommend it to friends.
