Ideal location for my 1 week work trip. Easy parking, comfortable facilities and very helpful and accommodating staff.

I don’t get to the city much as live 4 hrs East and I always stay at Birches when I’m in Melbourne. It’s always sparkling clean, has beautiful comfy beds and the staff are SO friendly. It really feel like it’s home away from home. Safe secure car parking is also great. Love Birches

We have stayed regularly at Birches for several years. It is sited close to the CBD, public transport, several beautiful parks, the cafes and restaurants of Victoria Street, and within easy walking distance of a small supermarket. The staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly, making our stay comfortable and pleasant. We began staying there because it was dog friendly; we continue because for convenience and value for money it is hard to beat.

My elderly mother and I stayed at Birches so we could go to the tennis in January. It was great to have a ground floor apartment and it certainly met our needs for the 5 day stay. Beds are comfy and the lounge area was also comfortable with several lamps so harsh overhead lights did not need to be used. We would definitely stay there again.

We entered after hours and had no problems using the codes provided to get the key pass, park the car and get into the apartment. It was quiet and clean and very conveniently located. Only complaint was the street light coming through the side of the blinds shone right onto one of the beds. Other than that, I would highly recommend this accommodation and would stay here again.

We have stayed at Birches several time now - and will stay again. Pet access is a key point for other, but the location and amenities are also good. This time it was noisier than usual during the night, we discovered in the morning that the street-side window was slightly open: should have checked!

A very convenient position , a little noisy . Front desk staff excellent . Rooms becoming a bit tatty , in particular the bathroom . Overall i was happy with our stay and will certainly consider staying here again .

Lovely location and surprisingly quiet despite being near major roads. Slept really well in comfortable beds. Ideally situated close to many major attractions in the city. I was there for an event at the Carlton gardens which was a nice walk each morning from the apartments.

Initially we were surprised there was no lift. We were concerned about getting luggage upstairs but when we came back from our morning out (while we waited for apartment to be ready) Our luggage had been delivered to our room. Help was also offered to bring the luggage down on the day of departure. Thank you
