Fully self contained accommodation and furnished with a mix of antique and cottage style furniture it offers peace and tranquility together with magnificent rural and water views over the Coal River Valley and Barilla Bay. All this yet only 14 minutes drive from the Hobart CBD. It is an ideal base for taking in the attractions of the South such as Richmond historical village, Port Arthur and the Peninsular, Tahune Airwalk and the Huon, Salamanca Market, Cadbury Chocolate Factory or a tour of the Southern Tasmanian wine regions.
One bedroom has a queen size old style iron bed and the other bedroom has two single antique iron beds plus a roll out bed to cater for an extra child. All beds are fitted with electric blankets and a cot is available for small children. Relax in your large sitting room equipped with TV, CD player and DVD player.
All ingredients for a hearty breakfast such as farm eggs, bacon, cereals, home baked bread and home made jams are supplied for you to prepare in your fully equipped kitchen and consume in the sun drenched dining area or veranda of your accommodation.

Getting There : Cornwall Cottage is Situated on the B31 15 kms from the Hobart CBD. Car is required as there is poor public transport servicing the area.
Cornwall Cottage is situated minutes from the airport and the historic town of Richmond and fourteen minutes from the Hobart city centre. There are several restaurants, wineries and hotels located nearby which can provide excellent lunches morning and afternoon teas, wine tastings and evening meals.
