The property was originally Melbourne's earliest commercial bakery (circa 1850)and the original brick ovens are now a feature of the breakfast room.

Getting There : Situated at the corner of Spencer and Batman Streets (Melways Reference Map 2E, J2), Robinsons is a short walk from SOUTHERN CROSS STATION which is 800m south of RITC), Flagstaff Station (800m South East of RITC), by tram (at the corner of Spencer and Latrobe Streets, 200m south of RITC), Interstate & Airport Bus Terminal (which is 500m south of RITC) or by car.
Coming from the airport, take the Dynon St exit, turn left at the traffic lights into Spencer Street. Go through THREE sets of traffic lights (last set at intersection of SPENCER ST & DUDLEY ST), then take FIRST right through median strip into BATMAN STREET. We are the two storey brick building on the right.
