Do you accept pets ?

Sorry, our Body Corporate does not permit pets of any kind. We can direct you to other properties in the local area that do accept pets. We can also direct you to the nearest boarding kennels.


How far are you from Hastings Street ?

Castaway Cove is in a quiet natural location away from the noise and parking problems of Noosa. We are only a 7km or 7 min drive from all the boutiques and restaurants of Hastings Street - the tourist hub of Noosa.


Is your beach patrolled ?

No, because we are in an isolated area where you get 15km of beach to yourself, there are no lifesavers patrlolling the beach in front of the Resort. However, our guests do swim there and as long as you take care it is relatively safe.


Is your pool heated ?

Yes, our pool has a heat pump that maintains a constant swimmable temperature of 28 degrees Celsius from about April to November.


Is it necessary to have a car to see the local sites ?

We are not within walking distance of shops, restaurants and entertainment, however there is a local bus service that passes the resort. You can download the timetable for Route 620 from our website. There is also a 24 hr Taxi service available through Suncoast Cabs. To enable you to get around and see the sights of the Sunshine Coast and make the most of your time, we do recommend the use of a car. We would be happy to arrange a car hire quote for you, or you can make your own enquiry/booking through our Thrifty Car Rental link on our website. You can still get to experience many of the local tours and attractions without a car as most tour operators have a door to door pick-up service.


How much crockery and cutlery is provided?

All of our units have enough crockery, cutlery and glassware for the number of persons included in the tariff plus two extra.


Do you have child minding facilities ?

We recommend and use a professional local child minding service called Nannies of Noosa.


Which units have barbecues ?

Our Beach Houses, Beach Villas, Penthouses and one Apartment have their own private gas BBQs. An electric BBQ is also available in the pool area. When the gas bottles are fully exhausted, guests are asked to disconnect and bring the bottle to Reception for a full replacement.


Do you have internet connections in the apartments ?

Yes, high speed wireless broadband Internet access is available to all rooms. If you have brought a wireless enabled laptop or mobile phone you can connect to the Castaway Cove network, then open your browser, select your billing option and pay by credit card.


Do you provide massages ?

If you would like to have a soothing and relaxing massage or beauty treatment in the privacy of your own unit, then we use exclusively the services of In House Spa Treatments. In House Spa Treatments is a mobile day spa servicing Noosa and the Sunshine Coast with an extensive range of beauty treatments, spa treatments, massages, hair & makeup packages, pamper parties, kids pamper parties, bridal showers, girls weekends away, hairdressing and treatments that cater for ladies as well as men. Gift vouchers are also available. Please also refer to our Castaway Romance and Pamper Packages on our website where massages or beauty treatments are included with the accommodation.
