Set amongst tropical gardens, Alaya Escape is a Balinese-inspired retreat, boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a self-service bar, Bali-style huts and pavilions and a wellness centre. All 4 bungalows feature a fireplace, a spa bath and a patio with garden views.

Alaya Escape is just 500 metres from the world famous Chenrezig Buddhist Institute. The property is less than 15 minutes' drive from Australia Zoo and the Ettamogah Pub. It is within 20 minutes' drive from Nambour's 18-hole golf course, Mooloolaba beaches, as well as Alexandra Headlands and Maroochydore.

The air-conditioned bungalows feature a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ facilities and both indoor/outdoor dining areas. Guests can relax in their lounge area and watch TV or a DVD.

You can lounge poolside in the Balinese-style pavilion, complete with a daybed and bar, or relax in the lounge pavilion with a book from the library. There is also free bicycle hire and a guest laundry.

Optional extras include in-room massages, spa treatments, mountain bike hire and personal development and stress management programs. Chocolates, gift hampers, wine, beer and meal vouchers are also available.

We do have a meeting room and the capacity to hold small functions. We run structured group and individual retreat options involving Yoga, professional & personal development, meditation, fitness, nutrition and stress & weight management programs.

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

ALAYA has been designed as a secluded escape for adults. Smoking is strictly restricted to outdoors only.

Deposit Policy

12% of total booking cost will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking by bookdirect2save.com.au.

Balance payable to Alaya Escape: 2% surcharge is added to credit card transactions, which is less than what we are charged ourselves by our 'mates' at the merchant banking services. All of your details are kept as strictly confidential and this method assists those in booking ahead without worrying about paying up front.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 10 days notice on cancellations, otherwise your stay may incur the full accommodation charge. We are more than happy to transfer your booking to another date and have no interest in taking advantage of difficult circumstances.

No Show Policy

100% payment will be taken immediately upon no show. We are flexible and will support challenges should they arise, but will also temper this approach with the notion that we are running a business and have held the space that nobody else could have used.

Child Policy

Child over 12 is considered as adult. Children may be considered depending on bookings and other factors. Pets may also be considered. Contact Craig (Owner) to discuss further.

Other Policy

Smoking is strictly confined to outdoors only. We will be very harsh on smoking indoors and this may incur the full cost of an internal repaint. Damages to be reported immediately. We are very easy-going people and we aim to provide an exceptional holiday experience and we insist that all guests make this oasis their own. We also ask that all guests respect the rights of other guests in relation to noise and strive to treat our retreat as if it were their own. Water is the life blood of this retreat and we are 100% self-sufficient with all water coming from our tanks. Please consider that any yellowing in the water is due to leaf tannin and we do ask that guests are mindful of their water use and wastage, including spa usage.
