Begonia City Motor Inn offers comfortable, 3.5 star accommodation in a quiet area of Ballarat, yet is only five minutes drive from the city centre and seven minutes drive from Sovereign Hill.

Our 17 spacious ground floor units offer double, twin, family, spa or self-contained accommodation. All units are non-smoking, and feature queen size beds, reverse cycle heating and cooling, telephone, remote controlled 81cm LCD television, electric blankets, tea/coffee facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer and toaster.

Free Austar satellite television is provided in all rooms, featuring Foxsport 1,2 and 3, SkyNews, Movies One and Extra, Nikleodeon and Fox 8.

Complimentary wireless broadband is available in all rooms.

Our property features an in-ground swimming pool, with adjacent BBQ area for guest use.

Begonia City Motor Inn is located just 200 metres from Coles supermarket and liquor store, several take away food stores, hair salons, the post office and the Commonwealth Bank.

The Sebastopol Bowling Club is located opposite our property, and offers lunch and dinner daily in its bistro, together with gaming facilities.

	Car Parking : Parking is free and available directly outside your unit. Limited off-street parking is available for larger vehicles, including small trucks, trailers and boats. Please enquire when booking.
	Getting There :If coming from Melbourne take the Ballarat City Centre turn off and stay on Victoria Street, through Bakery Hill and follow Little Bridge Street around the Bridge Mall and onto Sturt Street. Drive up Sturt Street and take the forth trun to the left into Doverton Street (this is the A300 exit - Midland Highway - with a sign indicating Hamilton & Geelong). Continue along the A300, through three roundabouts, until you come to Sebastopol. Begonia City Motor Inn is on your right, just after the third roundabout and on the right about 200 metres past the Coles supermarket. If coming from Geelong, just follow the Midland Highway through Buninyong, and into Ballarat and Sebastopol is the first area you come to. We are the only motel just on from where the highway becomes divided and on your left. If coming from the direction of Adelaide, follow the Western Freeway and take the A300 exit (Midland Highway to the right and into the CBD. When you cross Sturt Street (Ballarat's main street) continue across the intersection and follow the Midland Highway (as per the coming from Melbourne directions above). If coming from the direction of Hamilton, on the Glenelg Highway (B160), follow the highway until you come to the intersection with the A300 (Midland Highway), turn right at the roundabout, and continue along the A300 through the next roundabout. You will see the Coles supermarket on the right and we are about 200 metres further along, also on the right.

Arch of Victory - built to honour the residents of Ballarat who volunteered for service in World War I. POW Memorial - a national tribute to the scarifice of more than 35,000 Australian service men and women captured by enemy forces during four wars. Ballarat Botanical Gardens - walk through the floral conservatory, the Statuary Pavillion, and the Avenue of the Prime Ministers. Rivers Clearance Store - the original clothing super clearance store. The Sepastopol Bowling Club is very close by and is licenced and has bistro meals for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, as well as gaming facilities. The Sebastopol Shopping Centre has the following facilities within 200 to 300 metres of the Motel: Coles Supermarket and Liquorland; Commonwealth Bank; Post Office; Coin Laundry; Butcher; Take Away Foods (4); Chemist and; Hairdressers.

1. Do we have charge-back facilities?

Yes we have charge-back facilities with the Sebastopol Bowling Club and Royal Mail Hotel (both within walking distance and both provide a great variety of meals.

2. What time is check-in and Check-out?

You can check-in from 1pm and earlier if available and check-out is generally 10am.

3. Is there parking for larger vehicles on site?

Yes. We do have rear access and space for larger vehicles such as trucks and bigger or high trailers. There are height entry restrictions (2 metres) at the front of the property so call reception to get directions and have the rear gate opened.

4. Do we provide accounts?

Yes a business account can be arranged for regular compant representatives.

5. What credit cards can be used?

We have visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express.

6. Do we have DVD's and Microwaves?

We have a small number of both and can provide them if available upon request.

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking and provide security for the stay. Whilst the credit card number and end date will be taken at the time of the booking, the card will not be accessed nor the account processed until check-in. Guests will be given the option of either using the provided card or use another payment option.

Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

Depending upon the currency of the booking, your credit card's currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees which are in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.

Deposit Policy

Generally credit card details are required to secure and confirm accommodation bookings.

Whilst we provide every assurance that these details are recorded in a secure electronic format, guests have every right not to provide such details. If this is the situation then a deposit of 10% of the accommodation fee is sought to provide the security deposit.
