I travelled to Dalby to attend the Qld Music Trails weekend at historic Jimbour House, about 20 mins away (a magnificent event which I highly recommend) and had booked at the Dalby motor Inn. It was easy to find and the parking area was easily accessible. At check-in, I was greeted warmly and welcomed. My room, on the ground floor as requested, was large, very comfortable and included everything I required including a walk-in shower. It was close to the car park and also had a delightful verandah from which I enjoyed the local scene, the park across the road and the full moon. The bed was extremely comfortable and I meant to check the labelling on the mattress for when I buy a new one at home. Many eateries, convenience and grocery stores, tourist delights and churches were within walking distance and I used a few on my second night and day. On my first night, I dined on-site at Squires Restaurant and Bar. The menu choices were many and varied so choosing took time. My meal of grilled salmon with chips and a large, full mix salad was scrumptious (my compliments to the chef!) and the large glass of wine, since I was walking not driving - although I thought a little pricey - topped it off nicely. I was too full to try the desserts. At least another 26 people dined in the restaurant in the time I was there. The two level complex also has a pool and guest laundry. I was really pleased with my choice of the Dalby Motor Inn for my stay.

RECEPTION WAS VERY WELCOMING. ROOM WAS LOVLEY AND CLEAN WITH EVERYTHING I NEEDED IN THERE. STAFF RESTUARANT WERE VERY POLITE AND WELCOMING TOO
