Blissfully quiet, you will wake up to beautiful birdsong and grazing kangaroos. Your accommodation is set amongst our vineyards and 100 acres of lush, native bushland in Australia's oldest wine region, the Hunter Valley. The 16 log cabins style motel rooms have sprightly colour schemes. All rooms have country style beds, split system air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, TV and spacious shower ensuites. All rooms overlook vineyards and spacious grounds frequented by Kangaroos and native birds.

Single night weekend and midweek dinner, bed and breakfast package bookings are subject to availability please call or email to check availability.
Two night DBB packages include a 3 course a la carte dinner in our restaurant Shakey Tables on one night.
Additional adult/child prices on DBB packages are room only.

Situated in the centre of the lodge is our award winning restaurant, Shakey Tables. Chef Paula Rengger's menu is classically inspired contemporary Australian, creatively interpreted, influenced by her Scottish heritage and cooked with honesty and passion. Paula's artistic and design talent extends far from the kitchen with her own gallery of modern paintings adorning the restaurant walls. The assortment of classic tables and colourful chairs, contrasting with Paula's modern art, sets a style that gives our restaurant it's name. Serving contemporary Australian cuisine and an extensive range of Estate, Hunter, Australian and international fine wines.
The restaurant is open 7 nights from 6:30pm and lunch from 12pm Saturday and Sunday.

All wines produced on the estate are available within the rooms or for cellar door purchase.

Before Hornsby (at Wahroonga) take the F3 Freeway towards Newcastle. After 100km or 1 hour exit the F3 at Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. Follow signs to Cessnock and Vineyards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DIRECTIONS FROM Cessnock to Hunter Country Lodge & Shakey Tables Restaurant - On approach to Cessnock town centre turn right into Vincent Street and continue through town centre. - At the "T" intersection, turn left then hard right into Allandale Road. - Travel along Allandale Road which becomes Wine Country Drive for 12km. Hunter Country Lodge and Shakey Tables Restaurant are set back from the road on the right hand side, opposite Balloon Aloft. We have well lit signage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH WEST - Join the New England Highway. Follow the signs to Armidale, Tamworth, Muswellbrook and Singleton. - As you enter Branxton turn right into Clift Street towards Cessnock at the lights. Clift street becomes Wine Country Drive. Follow until you come to Hunter Country Lodge on the left hand side. (approx. 6km)

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

Cancellations or changes to bookings for this room must be made at least 72 hours prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the full amount of the booking.
