Latrobe Art Apartments are brand new apartments set within an 1870 building in the main street of Latrobe in Northern Tasmania. The apartments have close access to cafes, restaurants, shops and art galleries.

The apartments are self-contained (two have fully functional kitchens and two have a kitchenette), have laundry facilities available, and free parking. Each room has coffee / tea making facilities, LCD TV, DVD player, linen, and much more! Meals can either be made in the room, or bought from restaurants / cafe's that are right near the apartments.

Latrobe Art Apartments are only a 10 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal and the Devonport Airport. Latrobe is also known as the Platypus Capital of Tasmania, with various viewing areas and a platypus interpretation centre to learn more about this friendly mammal.

There is also trout fishing, the Mersey River, Reliquaire (a lovely quirky store), Anvers Chocolate Factory, Ashgrove Cheese, Warrawee Forest Reserve, Vineyards, close proximity to the Mersey Hospital and lots more. We are also the doorway to Cradle Mountain, and other tourist spots within the North.

General Information

	Car Parking : Car parking available for small to medium vehicles, no campers or caravans.
	Getting There :We are on the main street in Latrobe. Turn off at the Bass Hwy into Latrobe and from there you will meet Gilbert Street. Turn right into Gilbert Street until you get to a driveway (63-65) before the BWS store. The carpark is at the rear of the property.

Hiking, kayaking, fishing, shopping, sight seeing, there is lots to do in this popular area.

Great Western Tiers Suite

Great Western Tiers Suite is the more budget conscious of them all. It features a large living area which contains a Queen Bed, lounge, kitchenette and ensuite. Kitchen necessities are supplied, as well as linen and towels. Laundry facilities and free parking is also available. This apartment can sleep a maximum of 2 people.

The Lake Barrington Apartment is an upstairs apartment with a living area, a seperate bedroom containing a Queen Bed, a kitchenette and bathroom. Mt Roland Apartment is set within the old living quarters of the original building. It has a narrow staircase to the upstairs bedroom which features a Double Bed and a fold out bed for extra guests. Downstairs features a fully functional kitchen, living area and bathroom. Kitchen necessities are supplied, as well as linen and towels. Laundry facilities and free parking is also available. This apartment can sleep a maximum of 3 people.

Cradle Mountain is the largest of our apartments. It features a very spacious living area, upstairs bedroom, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and outdoor decked sitting area. Kitchen necessities are supplied, as well as linen and towels. Laundry facilities and free parking is also available. This apartment can sleep a maximum of 3 people. One Queenbed and one single bed available.

1. How do I check in?

2. How do I pay for my room?

Payment facilities are available on site or over the phone.

3. What if I have a larger vehicle?

Larger vehicles do have street parking available, however campers and caravans are not allowed.

4. I have an older child that I have travelling with me, am I able to bring them?

Children over 12 are fine, or if prior arrangements are made. The accommodation is not suitable for young children.

5. What do I do if I smoke?

Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, however there is outdoor locations where smoking is allowed.

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

Deposit Policy

12% of total booking cost will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking by Bookdirect2Save.com.au.
Balance payable to Latrobe Art Apartments.

Cancellation Policy

We require 72 hours notice for booking cancellation otherwise amount equivalent to one night for the number of rooms booked will be charged to credit card provided.

No Show Policy

If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show up at the property, we will charge a one night room charge for number of rooms booked.

Child Policy

Child over 14 is considered as adult. No young children.
