Getting There :Merimbula is a 7 hour drive from Melbourne, 6 hours from Sydney and less than 3 hours from Canberra. Daily flights to and from Melbourne and Sydney, are available. Bus companies also run services from Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. |
| Merimbula is a mecca for fisherman, surfers, swimmers and walkers. Whale and dolphin watching cruises are available in the months of September to November. The golf courses and bowling greens are hard to beat or just come for a quiet and relaxing break. |

Heather & Jamie were great hosts throughout our stay and helpful even before we arrived answering a couple of questions. The apartment was fully equipped washer dryer and dishwasher well appointed kitchen DVD player even a few toys in the cupboard. Lovely outdoor area next to a play area is the perfect spot to relax whilst the kidlets wear themselves out.The pool was swim & play ready. Close to a great playpark, fish&chippy, cafe and great waterfront walks... Just a short walk to the beautiful beach (dog friendly) Plane spotting was a fun race outside activity as the airport is down the road a bit.
