I have stayed here several times before. This times i noticed a big difference in the room decor & style. Very much updated & pleasant to be in. Everything one would need is there.

The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was very small. The toilet seat was broken. The noise from the nearby pub was very noticeable but once it stopped it was a nice quiet area for the rest of the night. I was really shocked at the price for a motel room in Cessnock for a Saturday night and if we didn't need to stay in Cessnock we would definitely go to another area or town (it is disgusting that a town can hold patrons to ransom by increasing their rates by $35 to $55 per night to stay Saturday night rather than Sunday night or a week night). I did go into the website yesterday to rebook for the weekend after next and your rates have gone up even more. Why? Needless to say, I did not book - it is already costing us a small fortune to travel down there every couple of weeks without having to spend all that money just to stay one night.

This was a really nice place to stay, I was a little annoyed that I couldn't charge my phone when the electricity went off for the solar panel installation. I was unable to take as many pictures at the wedding I was attending!
