This is the 2nd time we have stayed and we continue to find the location is outstanding for Restaurants, Public Transport and having Coles across the road is a huge bonus. The big free and secure carpark on the property is the big plus for us. We will continue to stay here when visiting Melbourne.

The apartment is old but rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. The king size bed was great! Across the road from Coles and a short walk to city tram. So many restaurants and on Thursday night in summer an awesome market near Luna Park with international food stalls. All this with free, secure parking means very good value.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barkly Apartments, the staff were very helpful and accomodating, allowing us to check in early and providing information on Melbourne. The location is perfect and we felt at home very quickly. The apartment was cleaned daily which was greatly appreciated when sharing with two others. Good value for money.

Units are dated but comfortable and roomy. Bathrooms are old but include a washing machine and dryer which is a big plus for someone travelling by road. There is a separate toilet but no exhaust fan in the toilet. Overall the units are comfortable and in a great position for restaurants, the beach and shopping.

Accommodation was as expected, appears dated but adequately refurbished and very clean. Location is ideal for transport, shops and eating establishments. Parking and security was excellent, basically we felt everything was just what was needed. This venue will be on our return list for when we next visit Melbourne.

Travelled from Western Australia with my partner and seven year old child. We found the accommodation suited us perfectly. Every thing we needed was on our door step including trams, shopping, cafes, pubs, Luna park etc. St Kilda beach is the only place to stay absolutely brilliant.
