All good folks. We are early risers, so the Garbo noise from the lane at the back of Unit 1 was not a problem but for some it would be. Last Thursday was a top of only 14 degrees,,, thank God for global warming. We will be back !

This was our last stop on a 4 weeks x 12,500 kms trip. Best motel of the entire trip in every way.Could not recommend it highly enough. Central yet quiet location; friendly and helpful hosts; immaculate rooms; every convenience; loved those comfortable dining chairs, perfect for TV watching while sipping a relaxing drink. Wished we could have stayed longer.

My brother and I were traveling with my elderly father and the Motor Inn was perfect for us. Great location with minimal problems getting around with dad. Pool was very welcome and Justin was a great host for us. We were given sound advice regarding things to do, places to visit and hospitality services. The Victoria Hotel and the Queensland Hotel are close by and we found the food and staff there were also most hospitable.

Service was friendly and welcoming. Early morning traffic noise was an issue garbage truck and other heavy vehicles. Found the reference to Health regulations preventing cooking in the rooms bewildering as no such legislation exists. A better way is to simply state that the rooms are not designed for that purpose and that additional cleaning charges may be incurred.

A very enjoyable stay. Friendly staff, comfortable room, easy access, just what you need at the end of a long days drive. Unfortunately there were no vacancies for our return journey so we passed straight through but I would definitely recommend the Macintyre to friends and fellow travellers for an enjoyable and relaxing break in their travels

We were happy with our room, it's cleanliness and the generally good lack of noise transfer from other rooms and guests. Bathroom was clean and adequate although a little cramped. We would be happy to stay again in the future.

Extremely friendly greeting from reception lady, she was so lovely and very imformative, we felt really at home the moment we got there. Beautiful, clean, tidy and functional rooms. Awesome pool area which we utilised gratefully. Found the best Chinese shop for dinner just around the corner. I loved the feel and friendliness of the place. When we go to the Gold Coast again we will definitely make this the place we stay..

We have been staying here on our way to and from Canberra for years. The decor may be a little dated however the rooms have been looked after meticulously. Beds were comfy, bathroom pristine, I would recommend this motel highly.
