Townhouse with a thoughtful layout, designed to capture lovely ocean views from the upstairs living area. Well appointed with dishwasher and washing machine. Good water pressure in the shower with a nice shower head. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking. Swimming pool was a real hit with the kids. Walking distance to the "Boardwalk," Woolies, restaurants, clubs, and a playground for the kids. Overall good value for money for a family of five. Thanks, we hope to visit again.

This was just what we were looking for. The apartment was excellent, very conveniently located for our needs, and quiet - which was what we were looking for. Excellent.

The units are less than 100 meters from the Market Street shops and have great unimpeded views a cross Lake Murrimbula - just about the best site in town and at a reasonable price.

Our stay at Penguin Mews was very enjoyable. The managers were very friendly and helpful and the position was perfect. We would definately stay there again and will reccommend it to other people. Thank you.

Our appartment had everything we needed for a young family. The location was perfect - closest to Market St and waterfront than any other accomodation, walking distance to everything. We want to come back next year; same time & hopefully same appartment. Neighbour noise (talking on balconies loudly on telephones, televisions up loud with doors/windows open after 10pm) would be the only thing that could have improved, however there's not a lot you can do for that as owners.

The only issue we had was that the spiral stairs were a bit dangerous when it had been raining. But apart from that we were very happy

Friendly welcome & offer to help with luggage. Alternative secure location to lock bikes found. (Apartment top floor) Premises very clean and quiet at all times. Extremely handy location - short walks to Fishpen, to local shops & beaches. Lots of tourist information was handy. All in all a great holiday experience.

We had a lovely time and the location was fantastic. Pool and BBQ area was great. We really appreciated John driving us to and from the airport (an extra time to pick up a suitcase). Only comment would be some softer pillows and a larger flat sheet for the bed in the main bedroom. The balcony was fantastic and I would have loved to have had one of the front apartments with the direct views of the lake given that we were staying for 5 nights. Thank you.

As a large , young family finding reasonable accommodation can be difficult. It would have to be one of the cleanest places I have stayed. Our unit had almost everything we could have needed and while the decor was not the most modern, everything was well kept, comfortable and clean which is what you really need in good accommodation. The location was fantastic, we walked almost everywhere. The view and balcony was lovely. The staff were friendly and available if we needed them. We love to visit Merimbula and feel like we have found accommodation we want to go back to! Thank you for accommodating us on a lovely family Getaway

Fantstic location, Apartment had everthing we needed,great value. Was our 1st time to Merimbula and although we had poor weather we absoloutley fell in love with the place it was a perfect holiday location. Lucky people to be living there!!!! Was great to be able to leave the car and stroll everywhere!!! Will definitely be back!!!!

We booked through recommendation by friends (Williams) who were also staying there, and had done so in the past. The apt had beautiful views of the bay - it was a lovely location, and conveniently located to shops and eateries. Spiral stairs were a little hairy. We enjoyed our stay. cheers Julia

We found Electric blankets made the bed warm . I slept on the floor some nights , so handy extra blankets. The milk and tea bags were handy for instant tea. Great views over the river and out to the heads. Great heating on the cold winter nights Motel is very close to shops and entertainment , yet still quiet.

Penguin Mews is in a great location within easy walking distance to town and parks. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The electric blankets were a real hit!

We had a really great time at Penguin Mews a lovely setting with great views, good accommodation and so near to town etc didn't need to use our car atall.

Clean accommodation, very close to all facilities and yet very quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hi I had a very good time at Penguin Mews. The view on the second floor was awesome, carparking was good and it was situated within walking distance to all the shops. I would definitely recommend it to people. Regards - Jung

Accommodation was very conveniently located to town. Unit was clean and comfortable and made a good "base" for our holiday - only disappointment was the weather - not really something that could be controlled.
