A comfortable apartment with a great location and good views. Perfect for families. Good service and excellent value for money. Our only 'complaints' are relatively minor in that some of the fittings and fixtures are very well worn and a little dated, the front door doesn't seal properly so there's a loud and cold wind blowing through constantly, and the kitchen was overrun with small cockroaches. It would have been nice to have more than one sachet of dishwashing and laundry liquids provided for a family staying three nights.

We had a good stay & our needs were met. We have family on the GC & combined a short stay break with a family commitment. Another family member had stayed previously & recommended The Atrium. The upside (as rated above) offset some negatives. 1. Staining on the sofa that probably would lift with steam cleaning. 2. Sullage drain noise from units above-especially noticeable at night. 3. No bedside table in 2nd bedroom or suitcase stands. 4. Glass dining table should have clear plastic corner protections fitted. 5. Others might overly criticise the size of the kitchen. It was surprisingly compact but met our needs.

We stayed for a week, and have no complaints at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our daughter absolutely loved the games room. The beds were a dream to sleep on and the whole apartment suited our needs. The Atrium is close enough to the 'worlds' and to surfers paradise but still a nice, quiet area. We cant wait to come back :)

Overall very happy with the experience. I have stayed at this resort a few times and always recommend it to my friends and family. Only a few small suggestion in regards to the self catering in the particular unit I stayed in this time. It did not have an electric fry pan, which I did have in the another unit the last time I stayed and only two cook tops made it a little hard to cook dinner for a family. Also dvd players in either the lounge room or bed room would be helpful for families when they are wanting to watch a movie. Other than that had a lovely stay again and look forward to staying again in the near future

The rooms were great value for money and very well presented. The whole complex was extremely clean, I have stayed at many locations on The Gold Coast and found the complex to be very clean, although I would have said the cleanest Ive stayed in, if I didn't have black hair in both of my bathrooms. I was very happy with everything from the price to the location and the friendliness of the staff although getting a phone call one morning saying that I had made to much noise at midnight the night before was a bit of a shock to myself as me and my children were asleep at the time. Also the lock on the door was rusted and did not seal properly so it got a bit breezy. Other than those couple of little hiccup's we loved it.

As always, the apartment was good. Great location, value for money, good facilities. Unfortunately our experience this time was not as good as other times. It may be a function of the confluence of Easter & Anzac day long weekends with the school holidays - but there was quite a lot of late night and early hours of the morning noise from the walkways and lift areas. We were woken up many times - here's a few examples: - 3am in the monring to the sounds of some party goers returning and taking about 1 hour to settle into their rooms. - 11pm at night the kids were woken up by a group of women going out partying and creating some noise in the lift area right outside the kids bedroom. To their credit, the women apologised and did not disturb the kids when returning. - We were in a middle room between 2 lots of friends on either side so we had a lot of late night to and fro between their rooms. - People using the garbage shutes at 2am in the morning. I realise the different circumstances w.r.t public holidays meant this period was very busy and there was a different mix of people this time compared to previous times - but it highlighted to us the importance of avoiding public holiday periods and getting a corner unit away from the lift area. I did request a corner unit in my booking, but this time we were in a middle unit at the front.

Apartment 4J was very neat and tidy, but because the aircon flap doesn't work properly the cool air wouldn't distribute through the unit. There is a problem with the shower heads in both bathrooms, had to unscrew the head to have a proper shower. Queen mattress very uncomfortable.

I arrived at the resort to be greeted by a nice man. He was friendly and made me feel welcome. He explained everything very clearly and throughout our stay he was always happy to help. It was a great apartment and very clean and comfortable. I liked playing tennis and ping pong and I had lots of fun.
