The facilities and location were great however the pool lights went out by 8.30pm every night when the pool was meant to be operational until 10pm and when we notified staff were told it was on a timer and nothing could be done about it. That was disappointing as it limited our use of the great facilities and as the spa in our room was quite old and not very functional was a real negative for us. Also tv reception was really bad in the bedroom. Other than that we thought The Atrium was great.

Lovely views from balcony. Door in shower recess needs attention as it doesn't shut tightly. Dripping tap in spa bathroom and tap over sink is tight and not working properly. Overall had a lovely stay and would like to return at a later date with my family.

Very happy with our stay for the week. For under $100 a night we have never found anything close in Sydney. Central to everything our young family wanted and far enough away from the heavy traffic to relax and enjoy the quiet times.

Spacious and excellent amenities, good location. We really enjoyed staying here and felt it was good value for money. The rooftop pool and BBQ areas and the outdoor pool were good, and we loved having all the amenities like a washing machine and dryer. One major amenity that would have made our visit a lot easier would be free and ubiquitous wi-fi available throughout the building. Basically essential nowadays. Of course the building is no longer new (cracked tiles, etc) and many things felt like they needed a little bit of attention - minor issues I noticed included cheap plastic taps and fittings in the bathroom, dusty bathroom ventilation screen. A vacuum cleaner was provided in our room but lacked a hose and head, so would only be useful for minor dusting. There is a sign asking people to shower before using the pool by the tennis courts, but there was no hot water available in the mens shower (maybe I needed to press a button to turn this on?) Bigger issues that I would love to see addressed: - Ugly blue carpet in the walkways doesn't match the overall look of the rest of the building - Entrance to the underground parking feels quite narrow and could do with a new coat of paint - Rooftop BBQ area is very nice and well thought out, but could do with quieter ventilation fans and also some oil and cleaning products (scrubbing brush, cleaning spray) - Tiny kitchen, although of course this is a major job to fix

We had a great stay at The Atrium and ended up extending our stay by a further 2 nights. It was a perfect location for visiting Gold Coast city and beaches without being 'stuck' in the middle of everything. We spent 2 days at the theme parks which were also very close. The pool on the roof was an excellent way to relax on an evening and the kids (17,14,12) loved using all of the facilities.

A overall excellent 4 nights. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a water view spa room. It was fantastic. Great views, everything you would want in a self contained apartment, great spa, under covered parking, comfy beds, great location. Will be back to stay again.

Was a lovely stay overall with only a few slights. Once we awoke in the morning to find one of the toilets had somehow lost some of the water from the bowl overnight enough so that it opened the airway to the pipes leading to sewerage giving the room a smell. A quick flush and leaving the door shut for an hour or so to ventilate did the trick. Not sure what caused this but it did look like it was starting to happen again on another night later on during the trip but a flush filled the bowl back and it didn't happen again. Nice location but will need to drive to get to anywhere, though the close beachside was good to take long strolls. We were afraid of coming back late with the car as we got back at 9pm once and took the last parking space. Parking space didn't seem guaranteed as there was no designated space. Bedroom windows faced the center of the complex so there was never sunlight when we woke so it always felt like we were waking before sunrise and we could also constantly hear shuffling furniture and running water from the neighbors and upstairs, though this wouldn't wake us up if we were sleeping. The place itself was great. Loved the kitchen itself, might be a bit small to have a couple people using it at once but great for one person. The rooms were spacious and felt very open. Loved the rooftop pool and the little fish in the rock garden.

Generally very good service - we arrived after office hours, and the check-in service was very efficient. Modern looking decor - only issues were a couple of stains on the bed linen, and when we first arrived, our front door wasn't shut.... Lovely water views; beautiful roof-top views

We loved staying with you at The Atrium Resort! Our daughters loved going up and down the lift to watch the fish through the glass. The room was clean and tidy. Everything was working & in great condition. The resort is in a great location which isnt too busy & close to theme parks, which we visited. Only problem was our car was too high for your undercover parking, but that is not your fault. We will definitley be returning. We did love the hinterland view, but next time would prefer an ocean view room :) Great value for money staying at The Atrium. Will be reccomending to family & friends for their next Gold Coast holiday. From the Andersons
