I am always happy to hear suggestions on the apartments so that I can pass it onto the individual owner of the apartment. We are not 5 star accommodation and not the most modern as the poolside apartments were built in 1974 & the garden and sea view apts built in 2000. The superior ocean view apartments were renovated in 2006 and the some poolside apartments have had renovations to enhance their appearance.
It is important to keep the individual owners up to date on their investment from a guests point of view and from management.
Hope to see you again when you next feel like a quiet holiday.

The 1 bedroom budget poolside apartments are comfortable for those on a budget. Thank you for your review and if you let reception know when you are here, that there is a problem, we can organise to get it fixed. Our housekeeping staff picked up the issue when you checked out and the security door lock has now been rectified and locks accordingly. We are in a safe area and I have never had any issues at Airlie Apartments.

The room is basic - no bells and whistles here - but most importantly it's clean, tidy and reasonably priced. The apartment is very close to the town centre (5-10 mins walk) but you still get peace and quiet (i.e. a good night's sleep!) because it's not smackbang in the party central area. I would like to praise Cathy for being a hospitable host who does her best to help you enjoy your stay.

The budget poolside apartment is simple and clean as you stated. If you like nostalgic then we can take you back to the 70's with a little bit of 2000. It is good to know that we all get a good night sleep being just up the hill, yet in 5 minutes we are down the hill in Airlie Beach.
I like the hill because it keeps my eye on my fitness when I start to eat too many chocolates!
Hope to see you again Stefanie and the 'Panorama' seaplane tour was the ultimate of your weekend, flying to the Great Barrier Reef in a seaplane and then Whitehaven Beach. Heaven!

We enjoyed our stay at Airlie Apartments. The location was ideal with a short walk to Airlie shops and Lagoon. The view was beautiful. The 2 bedroom apartment was an ideal size for the four of us. Very comfortable.

Jill, my receptionist, looked after you at check in whilst I was away for a few days and does a fantastic job. As you were on a brief overnight stay before your sailing adventure, Jill offered a 'complimentary' upgrade to the superior ocean view apartment . Excellent overall experience. Would highly recommend to others. Cathy was fantastic at organising anything we needed for our stay, and although we arrived at the Apartments hours before the standard check-in time, Cathy and the team worked on our apartment so that we could check-in early and freshen up after the flight. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. The apartments are at the top of a steep hill, but this means that the views are fantastic and well worth the walk/drive up the hill! Great location, just a few minutes walk from the Main Street. Lovely pool, and again fabulous views from the pool area. Will be back.

We spent 3 nights at Airlie Apartments and enjoy every bit of it. The staff was most helpful in booking us a scuba diving tour which was awesome. The staff pointed out the nearest facilities around the property which was most helpful in particular grocery shopping centers. Instead of a late check out we were allowed to leave our bags in the office and chill out by their pool which was a good idea considering our flight was a late afternoon and the weather was hot. Overall we loved staying there and if we return to airlie beach we most likely will stay at Airlie Apartments again.

We will always try to offer a late check out if we will not hold up the cleaners and the next guest arriving. Everyone is welcome to leave their bags in reception and still use the pool facilities or wander into town for last minute shopping.
Best to book your tours in advance as the Great Barrier Reef tour is fully booked until January, 2014. Our tour website www.airliebeachonline.com.au has all the tours for you to peruse.

Very nice, quiet location. Lovely pool area with views to Marina and beyond. Only a couple of minutes walk into Airlie Beach and shops, a few minutes walk to the Marina for tours of the Whitsundays. Apartments very well fitted out. Extremely helpful, pleasant staff.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Expert service from the relieving manager as well as the manager on her return. Extremely helpful, positive and welcoming. Apartment was immaculately presented, had everything we needed, was spacious and comfortable. Laundry facilities excellent, children enjoyed the wonderful swimming pool. Amazing value for money. I enjoyed my stay but the parking is horrible. The parking is so tight that you need to go on a diet just to get in and out of your car.

I appreciate the car parking issue and it can be a little tight to get out of your car especially when we have the car park full with everyone driving. It is not always like that and it is unfortunate that I can't change anything to the original design as the apartments are above the car park. There is always parking beside reception and you can ask us if we have an alternative for you.

Lovely clean, modern and comfortable apartment with all conveniences including washing machine/dryer, great kitchen and big screen TVs in loung and bedroom. A very comfy king size bed and gorgeous views over marina. Location very handy to Airlie main street, although a very steep hill to climb on return, ok if you are reasonably mobile. Perhaps our only real concern was a slight lack of privacy as our apartment was right in the centre of the complex, when sitting on the deck you are viewed by other apartments. Also had to draw most of the blinds at night around the apartment for same reason, but that is just a personal dislike and perhaps would not bother others so much.

Thank you Jenny for the lovely review on one of the superior ocean view apartments. They are lovely inside with beautiful views. The large deck is great to enjoy the wildlife and marina outlook and it is a open plan style. I will pass on your concerns to the owner to see if they can install some privacy blinds on the deck.
Most accommodation in Airlie Beach is built on hills and the taxi price is minimal from town. I like to tackle the hill so I can enjoy a treat at the end of the day.
