Staff - Excellent, Location was selected by me to be near Rod Laver Area, North of Melbourne and somewhere you can go outside to have a smoke (rather than lifts and ramps and even more distance). Everyone I have talked to to organise an stay and stay have been welcoming, respectful and willing to do more if I ask.

It's a brilliant location...tram stop right outside, train station 10 minutes walk away, supermarket & Laundromat within walking distance. Good towels/ shampoo/ soap etc. And it's reasonably priced. All of which is why I keep returning when I stay in Melbourne.

Loved the easy access to the cbd and the comfy bed. I (Melanie) was unwell one day and the cleaning staff very kindly cleaned our room earlier so that I could go back to bed. The room was well set out with all that you would need for the 5 days we stayed there. The rooms were serviced each day with fresh towels, beds made, dishes done and left neat and tidy. All the staff were happy, helpful and made the stay very pleasant. It was great that the tram station was close to the hotel as this enabled us to get around easily.

Very pleasant staff, comfortable room. Easy to get to the city ,tram stops outside door. Shower not the best doesn’t maintain a constant temp. Room had twin bunks and the top one has no rails to stop you rolling out. But apart from those two minor things it was a very good place to stay, will stay there again when I visit Melbourne.
