The staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending food options I'm the area and information on public transport ( tram to the city was right outside the front door. While the decor was quite dated, and I think, at some stage, there may have been a flood in the hallway, an indication being the water stains on the carpet, it was a comfortable, enjoyable stay :-)

We have stayed at St Georges Motor Inn many times before, it's a very convenient location for business and pleasure, wether you have a hire car or use the tram. Staff are always pleasant, and it always nice to catch up with Michael, and have a chat.

When we arrived, our booking was not there.The suggestion was to take a family room. Considering my adult daughter's boyfriend was with us I thought it a bit awkward if we all shared a room. We took an hour to look for more accommodation. We found another room for my daughter elsewhere. On our return, management had upgraded our room to a spa suite and gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine. we feel the matter was handled very well when we returned and thank you for the effort that was put into making our stay enjoyable. We would definately stay at St Georges Motor Inn again.

I was going to give you a call today but got tied up. Very pleased with the whole experience. You could have made the weather better so no criticism there. You need to check the electric blanket on the LHS. As it was so cold when i got back to the room at 11pm I flicked it on. By midnight there was an acrid smell coming from the controller. i.e.e the burning smell!!! Smell went after it was turned off.

Fantastic from the get-go. The reception area was very cosy, and the staff were pleasant. Rooms were a great price, only a three minute drive from the venue I was attending, and SO SPACIOUS. Many motel rooms underrate spaciousness, but this was perfect.

Although the decor is dated, the room was very clean and serviced daily. A member of staff kindly carried my luggage upstairs and answered queries re the location of the nearest train station. (There is a tram stop opposite the Motor Inn.) I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Rooms were tidied and cleaned beautifully each day. Fresh towels were provided every day. Could have used a face washer but only hand and bath towels were provided - I should have asked! Access to tram perfect for city and St Kilda.
