We were delighted with the location, comfort and amenities of the room. It was great for an extended stay and perfect for more than two people. The view of the river and casino were fabulous and worth having this room for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is probably a 15min walk to the city centre but very close to the Crown Casino and the tram line. We would definitely stay there again.

Very good - easy check-in, great reception staff, good rooms though a little dark in lounge area. Plenty of room in lounge kitchen dining areas, large bedroom bathroom & walk-in wardrobe but not enough room to move past end of bed. Very comfortable bed! Good location - very easy to get to Southbank for lots of good eating places. Easy 30 minute walk to Rod Laver & MCG.

Have stayed there 4 times and always found it clean and tidy, suitable crockery and cuttlery and most helpful staff. Location near Casino and Southbank with Tram stop at the end of the lane adds to the pleasure. Secure off street parking is great and easy to use.

We really enjoyed our stay, the only real downsides for us were due to the noise from the pub on Highlander lane, and that we could hear noise from toilets/showers in adjacent units. Not things you can easily correct! The venetian blinds in the kitchen really need cleaning but otherwise it was pretty clean and tidy. We really appreciated being able to check in early, check out late and store our luggage until we were ready to depart. And having your maintenance staff member assist with fixing my broken suitcase was just fantastic!

When I arrived I was very pleased, visually with the room. Unfortunately the bed was soaked through to the mattress, so was not a good start! I was given another room and was very pleased with the overall standard of the room. It was very convenient for me as I was attending our Melbourne office which was 2 minutes from where I was so no hassles with catching trams/taxis!!

While the decor is dated, it is clean and tidy. The stove didn't work but otherwise all else seemed fine. Good location. The staff at the reception were helpful and friendly - all in all, a good experience.

We came for a belated Valentine's Day and the room and facilities were excellent and location to Crown was ideal. One very small comment - Our booking included the free February buffet breakfast but at check-in I wasn't given a voucher so we were slightly embarrassed at breakfast BUT the breakfast staff were very understanding. Also, please make it clear that parking is $25 at check-in (it is very reasonable but good to know up front) - thanks!

I stayed in Melbourne for business and had a mate stay who had to catch a plane next day. We had no problems with hotel and will in fact book in again soon with my wife and 3 kids. It is very close to train station and aqaurium which will be convenient. Cheers Terence Jago

We started off our stay in the annex where the accommodation was a poor standard-unattractive lay-out, rather smelly and no staff on site. We asked to be moved to the main site-staff obliged immediately for the next night. The main site was perfect and enabled us to thoroughly enjoy our stay in Melbourne. We could spend time in the evening in the apartment to relax after a busy day touring and sightseeing. We would not have spent any time in the other apartment-it reminded us of student digs! The main site had reception staff to help us arrange tours and attend to a leak that happened because of torrential rain. The breakfast was in a great location with a greta view and the Sri Lankan member of staff was charming and friendly. The washing machine and drier proved very useful (none available at the other site). Also the apartments on the main road are noisy at night as there are night clubs near that location whiose clients empty onto the streets in the late hours and early morning hours-people shouting and cars roaring off. If we had been left in that apartment our ratings would have been completely different--in fact we would be sending you a strong complaint. As it is, we were moved to the main hotel and therefore would happily recommend the hotel apartment -but we would say to friends -do not go there if you are put in the annex on the main road.
