We enjoyed our stay immensely, the young man who was on the desk the first night we arrived, was extremely helpful and very patient, with our many questions about Melbourne. Although it was a bit noisy at night , we appreciated the location .

As country resisdence the only down fall for us was the noise from the entrance to the hotel and the traffic noise. Next time I will request a quiet room. thanks -really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. thanks

It is a very convenient and safe place for me - I am an older woman, often on my own. I very much like the location and it is close to Melburne Uni where I usually attend a meeting when I am in Melbourne.

Very friendly and obliging staff staff. After a 4 hour drive to Melbourne, we fancied a realaxing drink, the bar wasn't open yet but reception staff were happy to serve us behind the bar, until we wanted some sparking wine (which they didn't have) so we were kindly informed that we could purchase our own bottle from the bottle shop on lygon street and enjoy it by the pool. That's a first! Sat in the sun and sipped champagne with our feet dangling in the pool- very refreshing. V. helpful staff all round.

My husband and I were quite pleased. (By the way, we stayed EIGHT nights, rather than five.) All of the staff at the front desk were very helpful and very professional. The young woman who was working alone at the desk Sunday evening October 10 had a heavy task - a large bus group was checking in, there was someone else who needed assistance, and here I came to see about settling my bill so I could save some time in the morning when it was time to leave. She cheerfully explained - as she handled everyone's problem - that on Sunday evening things were usually quieter. I think Travel Inn should be pleased that they have such an employee.

One concern, there was no information about the breakfast on offer, both content and price unlike other Best Westerns we stayed in. By the time we got to see prices and what was on offer we were sat at the table and felt committed. Hot breakfast was limited especially if you dont like eggs and the continental breakfast did not have a great choice.
