Fantastic location for the business traveller to Melbourne. Close to Lygon St and city centre. Staff excellent. Room quiet and beautifully clean. Overall venue could not have accomodated my requirements any better. Would certainly recommend it to friends and would stay there again when travelling on business or pleasure in Melbourne

The staff were wonderful, particularly the reception and restaurant staff. They were pleasant and very helpful in every interaction. My only quibble is that the room was not particularly soundproof with corridor and upstairs noise carrying easily. This was a bit disconcerting at 1am when other noisy guests returned to their room and were pacing around.

There were a few mix ups with our booking-namely we had booked a family room to accommodate 4 people but on our arrival the arrangements for the trundle bed had not been made. we had to rearrange things to make it fit in. We also did not have the correct number of towels. All of our problems were resolved however by the lovely reception staff. Finally, the "massage" shower head was a bit of a joke and certainly not worthy of being mentioned as a feature!!! Overall we did enjoy our stay and found the rooms to be modern, warm and inviting (just a little small for a family).

I've stayed many times as a solo business traveller because i always feel welcome and safe and I know the room will be clean and comfy and there's onsite parking - a must since I drive from regional Vic (there is no PT option to speak of where I live). The location is unbeatable also! I do recommend the travel inn to friends because of location and friendliness of the staff.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western, it was in a great location, easy to find a meal in Lygon St, the breakfast was very nice and the location was good as there wasn't too much traffic noise

have stayed here 4 or 5 times now. know to ask for 3rd floor - can get noisy around pool & courtyard area. staff always friendly & helpful. found beds a bit too much on the firm side, though must be hard to suit all - better than too soft!
