The staff were brilliant: friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Great to have a washing machine/clothes dryer. The gym was well equipped (all machines worked:-) )and the pool was great for lap swimming. All very clean too.

Lunar was very helpful, the apartments was pretty small though and a few things weren't 100% the washer/dryer leaked out into the bedroom, the blinds were tangled and terrible to use. The fridge door had nothing to keep the bottles in. This was replaced as soon as we told someone about it.

It was thoroughly relaxing. However, please do ensure that the reception staff double check their guest rooms correctly. My first night was interrupted by someone who was given the backup key to my room instead of his. There was inconvenience caused.

Overall I was happy with my experience. There was one hiccup however. The first night I stayed there seemed to be an alarm that went off below me. It was quite loud and lasted about 15-20 minutes. This happened just after midnight.

On arrival there was a big puddle of water on the kitchen floor but that took two seconds to clean up, the rest of the apartment was very clean. Also the heater in the lounge room was right behind the couch so when we turned the heater on we had to move the couch or it would of caught on fire! Other than that the room was perfect. Very comfortable and great value for money. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Milano. Great location .. minutes from Queen Victoria Market and Aldi is just next door. The kitchen is very well equipped. Staff are friendly. The only down side is that the carpet needs some cleaning. Yes! we will recommend and are happy to come back to Milano when in Melbourne again.

The suite was excellent and reception was very good. Minor issue with water being shut off early Wednesday morning which was annoying and reception was not open until 8am, was told to come back then to drop off my bags when I arrived in the city at 7am. Felt like the man on the other end of the phone had just woken up and wanted to just get me off the line, even though my confirmation call a few days before the lovely woman on the phone said it was no problem if i dropped my luggage off at 7am the morning of my check-in.

Even though the apartment we stayed in was a bit on the small side, it was ample for a family of 3. The location is superb making getting around easy, as close to the free city circle tram as well as the Swanston Street line, which takes you straight to Flinders Station. Having the Aldi's below was very handy as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the other patrons of the apartments. Would definitely consider staying again.

The unit was clean and new with appropriate heaters for our winter stay. Security is good and has all the necessary room ammenities -has Fox cable too. Location was excellent, near QV market, walking distance to all Melbourne attractions, and a short stroll to Federation Sq. and Southbank. My daughter enjoyed the apartment too much that she'd rather stay in her room than go out sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will stay at Milano everytime we are in Melbourne.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, room was tidied daily without rearranging our personal belongings. However, the toilet was always not exactly cleaned (hair left around and floor very oily/slippery).

Generally our stay was very good, however we did experience a few problems with housekeeping ie - tea towels with large holes, washing machine not in working order, towels not being replaced when unit serviced, chipped mugs in the cupboard. Obviously a thorough check is not conducted when rooms are serviced. Two staff members were exceptional, a young lady who was on nearly every evening during our stay (unfortunately I didn't get her name ) and a young gentleman by the name of Douglas. They were very efficient and prompt with any problems we had, especially the young lady, she was brilliant.
