I have stayed in many supposedly highly rated hotels in Melbourne - Hilton, Mercure, etc - and would rather stay with you any day! From the first time i arrived and took in the charming facade of your building on the shady quiet street dotted with similarly historical dwellings i knew that i would love it. East Melbourne is the perfect location - easy to walk into city and so many gorgeous parks nearby. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay perfect including a very nice call from Gary prior to my arrival and then his very helpful explanation about the front door keys which i found a life saver. A great room with all the facilities that I wanted plus a very comfortable bed. A lovely breakfast in the stately dining room coupled with an adjacent lounge area complete with a library. What more could a person desire? I will certainly be staying with you again - in fact, thinking about booking flights and a room for April - and would hate to think that i could miss out as i really do not want to stay anywhere else now. I shall certainly be recommending you to my friends and work colleagues and have already been doing so. All in all, a wonderful holiday made all the better by my accommodation. Thank you!

Check in was challenging. Didn't receive message for check in pin before arriving. Had to call both numbers on door before I could get pin for safe to receive my room key. Breakfast wasn't as it used to be during previous stays.

The accommodation is in a perfect location for those attending functions at the MCG or Rod Laver Arena as I did. Comfortable bed, hot water & filling breakfast. Only complaint was room smelt musty from being closed up. Needed to be able to open window.

Having driven for 3 hours to get to Melbourne, some of it in the rain, and arriving 15min later than planned, it was great to find your staff ready at reception to welcome us. Car parking was a big help. I will not hesitate to book future accommodation with you for similar needs.
